After enduring losses each week since its premiere, “Life Of Kylie” enjoyed slight week-over-week gains for its series finale.
According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s episode drew a 0.31 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 564,000 overall viewers. Last week’s broadcast posted a 0.26 in the demo and 559,000 in viewership.
Indicating that a second season is not in the cards, E! very clearly promoted this week’s episode as a “series finale.” Jenner meanwhile noted that “Life Of Kylie” is “over for now” an Instagram post with friend and series co-star Jordyn Woods.
“Life Of Kylie” posted underwhelming ratings for the duration of its run.
Given that many of the episodes faced daunting competition (from programs like “Game Of Thrones,” the VMAs and/or Sunday Night Football), it was logical to blame the performance on timeslot.
That argument was hurt, however, when the September 3 episode endured a week-over-week loss despite facing no major competition.
The interest just did not seem to be there.
— “Life Of Kylie” led into “WAGS: Miami” (0.14, 294,000 this week vs. 0.15, 330,000 last week).
