Earlier this summer, MTV confirmed plans to revive its classic “MTV Unplugged” series.
The first episode of the revival airs this Friday, September 8.
It focuses on multi-platinum hitmaker Shawn Mendes.
Mendes recently hit #1 at pop and hot adult contemporary radio with “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back.” He also took the stage during the MTV Video Music Awards.
How will he fare in the “MTV Unplugged” environment? We’ll find out at 8PM ET/PT on September 8.
