Cardi B Ranks As Top Female Artist On Billboard Artist 100

The rising star climbs to a new high on this week’s Artist 100 chart.

As her breakthrough single “Bodak Yellow” continues to erupt, Cardi B reaches a new peak on the Billboard Artist 100.

She rises two spots to #11 on this week’s edition of the chart, which ranks artists based on radio, sales, streaming and Social 50 (new followers, artist page views, song plays) activity.

Cardi B, moreover, ranks as the top female artist on the chart. The ten higher-ranked acts are either male solo artists or male-only groups.

Considering she has a limited discography (and no proper studio albums) from which to generate sales and streaming activity, both figures — the #11 overall ranking or #1 female ranking — are quite impressive.

Other high-ranking females include Demi Lovato (#12), Kesha (#14), Taylor Swift (#22), and Rihanna (#23).
