High-profile video premieres were a theme of the “1989” era. The “Bad Blood,” “Wildest Dreams,” and “Out Of The Woods” videos all launched during major TV broadcasts.
The lead single from Taylor Swift’s “Reputation” era also received that kind of treatment.
Swift premiered the music video for “Look What You Made Me Do” during Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards ceremony.
The eagerly anticipated video will bring more attention to a song that is already rich with buzz. “Look” is a dominant #1 on iTunes, the #1 song on Spotify and already charting prominently at hot adult contemporary and pop radio.
