Julia Michaels and Khalid are both rising stars in the music industry. They are also both part of the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards ceremony.
In addition to performing, the artists are up for the Best New Artist moonperson.
Ahead of the ceremony, Michaels and Khalid were spotted on the red carpet (well, blue floor).
