DJ Khaled’s #1 rhythmic radio hit “Wild Thoughts (featuring Rihanna & Bryson Tiller)” will reach the Top 10 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.
Niall Horan’s “Slow Hands” is also poised to enter that region this week.
“Wild Thoughts” received 7,013 spins during the first five days of the July 23-29 tracking week. Up 11.2% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots Khaled’s collaboration at #9 on the Mediabase building chart.
“Slow Hands” is #10 on the building chart with 6,478 spins (+11.1%).
Neither song is facing an imminent threat from below; both songs, therefore, appear to be virtual locks for a Top 10 position.
“Wild Thoughts” will give DJ Khaled two songs in the Top 10; his “I’m The One” is currently in the Top 5 (it is fading, but it won’t fall out of the Top 10 this week).
“Slow Hands” will be Horan’s first solo Top 10 hit at pop radio.
