The eagerly anticipated “Descendants 2” will premiere across six networks — including ABC — at 8PM EDT on July 21.
Following the movie, ABC will air a special “After Party” featuring principals from the movie.
Entitled “Descendants 2: ABC After-Party,” the half-hour special will feature appearances by director Kenny Ortega and cast members Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart and China Anne McClain.
The special will “take viewers along as the stars ride as grand marshals in Disneyland’s parade down Main Street U.S.A., and meet young fans at the red carpet premiere event held earlier this week.” It will also feature comments from Ortega and the cast members as well as behind-the-scenes clips and outtakes.
The actual “Descendants 2” movie will air across ABC, Disney Channel, Disney XD, Freeform, Lifetime and Lifetime Movies.
