Earlier this week, Justin Bieber Tweeted the first names of several Victoria’s Secret models — Elsa (Hosk), Jasmine (Tookes), Sara (Sampaio), Romee (Strijd), Stella (Maxwell) and Martha (Hunt).
Cryptic at first, the nature of Bieber’s message became clear when EDM juggernaut David Guetta re-Tweeted the post. Guetta’s share seemed to confirm rumors that the two had collaborated on a new single; the aforementioned Angels were evidently involved in some capacity.
Confirmation quickly emerged that the song would be called “2U” and released on Friday, June 9.
The tease continued Wednesday morning, as Sampaio shared a promotional clip for the song on her social platforms.
While the initial clip was silent, the supermodel later posted a version that included audio from the song. Sampaio’s caption, fittingly, urges fans to “Turn on the volume.”
