Earlier this spring, BellMedia confirmed that DNCE will be performing at the 2017 iHeartRadio MuchMusic Video Awards.
Thursday, it announced that DNCE frontman Joe Jonas will also be co-hosting the ceremony.
He will be joined in the co-hosting role by Alessia Cara.
“I grew up watching the MMVAs every year in my living room with my family,” said Cara. “I’m really excited to be a part of it and take the stage in a different way this year. Can’t wait to mess up every line, because I absolutely will!”
“I’m looking forward to getting back on this stage, at one of my favourite events, to celebrate and to host the show with Alessia,” added Jonas.
Set for June 18, the ceremony will feature performances by Arkells, DNCE, Iggy Azalea, Imagine Dragons, Jazz Cartier, Julia Michaels, Lorde, Niall Horan, and Post Malone.
Confirmed presenters include KJ Apa, Lilly Singh, and Nikki Bella. More performers and presenters will be announced soon.
