Update: Ed Sheeran will be performing on the March 3 “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Coinciding with the release of “Divide,” it will be a conventional performance on the “Tonight Show” stage.
Sheeran will also be appearing on the Monday, February 27 episode. According to NBC, he will join Jimmy Fallon and The Roots for a “Classroom Instruments” performance on Monday night’s episode.

In an early February press announcement, NBC said Ed Sheeran would be performing on the February 10 “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
The idea of a February 10 “Tonight Show” performance seemed logical given that Sheeran was in New York for the following night’s “SNL” (which broadcasts from the same Rockefeller Center venue), but the listing was quickly pulled without explanation. Sheeran did not, in fact, perform on the February 10 episode.
He evidently will be performing on an upcoming episode.
NBC now lists the musician for the March 3 “Tonight Show.” The performance is notably scheduled for the day his eagerly anticipated album “Divide” hits the market.
Samuel L. Jackson and Dakota Fanning will be interview guests on the episode.
