Update: Kygo x Selena Gomez’ “It Ain’t Me” entered the Top 10 on the US iTunes sales chart Thursday morning.
By Thursday afternoon, it was in the Top 5.
“It Ain’t Me” is #5 on the all-genre listing as of 4:25PM ET. Only Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” (#1), ZAYN & Taylor Swift’s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” (#2), Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” (#3), and Katy Perry’s “Chained To The Rhythm (featuring Skip Marley)” (#4) are currently selling at a faster pace.
A co-release from Ultra (on behalf of Kygo) and Interscope (on behalf of Gomez),” “It Ain’t Me” was a called a “standalone track” (as in, not a lead album single) in an official press release.

Two mid-week releases currently hold Top 10 positions on the US iTunes sales chart.
Maroon 5’s “Cold (featuring Future),” which arrived Tuesday, is currently #7 on the all-genre listing. Kygo x Selena Gomez’ “It Ain’t Me” is up to #9 following its late Wednesday/early Thursday debut.
Both songs are radio singles, and both are on the Interscope promotional roster. Aided by “on the hour” first day support at the pop and hot adult contemporary formats, “Cold” is already trending Top 25 at the former and Top 30 at the latter.
“It Ain’t Me,” a co-release from Ultra (on behalf of Kygo) and Interscope (on behalf of Gomez), was just issued to radio Thursday. It officially impacts the pop format on February 28 but will receive a substantial amount of airplay before then. Numerous iHeart stations are actually spinning it every hour today.
