Hot 100: The Chainsmokers’ “Paris” Debuts At #7

This past summer, The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey)” debuted at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100. It would quickly reach #1, where it would spend twelve consecutive weeks.

It still holds a Top 5 position on the chart.

This week, official follow-up single “Paris” also debuts impressively on the all-encompassing chart. It starts at #7 and obviously ranks as the week’s top debut.

The Hot 100 ranks songs based on combined activity from sales, streams and radio airplay. “Paris” starts near the top of the sales and streaming subcharts. It also received a substantial amount of first week radio support.
