In a statement issued on the group’s official Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages, Fifth Harmony members Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui and Dinah Jane say that Camila Cabello has decided to depart.

“After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed by her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony,” opens the statement. “We wish her well.”

The statement, which was issued exactly at midnight the day after the group played its final show on the Jingle Ball tour, continues by noting that they plan to continue as a foursome.

“We are four strong, committed women who will continue with Fifth Harmony as well as our solo endeavors,” says the statement. The full post is embedded below.

Cabello’s Twitter handle has also been removed from the Fifth Harmony bio; the other four members’ handles remain.

News of the apparent departure comes as Cabello enjoys a second successful single outside of the group. “Bad Things,” her collaboration with Machine Gun Kelly, reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and on the Mediabase pop and rhythmic airplay charts. It has also earned a gold certification.

Cabello previously went platinum with “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” her single with Shawn Mendes.

Cabello has not yet commented on the matter.
