Alessia Cara’s “Scars To Your Beautiful” continues to soar at pop radio.
The “Know-It-All” single is a lock to reach the Top 5 at pop radio this week. An ascent into the Top 3 is possible.
“Scars” received 10,767 spins during the first five days of the December 11-17 tracking week. Up 9.8% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots Cara’s single at #4 on Mediabase’s building chart.
“Scars” does not face an imminent threat from below and should thus have no trouble retaining its #4 position through the close of tracking.
It may even be able to leapfrog The Chainsmokers’ building #3 “Closer (featuring Halsey)” before the chart goes final. “Closer” is only 51 spins ahead — and in a state of deceleration.
