Luke Bryan’s “Move” Reaches #1 On Billboard Country Airplay, Sets Record

While Kenny Chesney’s “Setting The World On Fire (with P!nk)” retains #1 on the Mediabase country radio singles chart, Luke Bryan’s “Move” moves up to #1 on Billboard Country Airplay.

It is the fifth Country Airplay number one from Bryan’s 2015 album “Kill the Lights.”

Bryan is now the only country artist to score five Country Airplay number ones from two separate albums. He also achieved the feat with “Crash My Party,” which yielded number ones in the title track, “Drink A Beer,” “Play It Again,” “Roller Coaster,” and “I See You.”

“Kill The Lights” is meanwhile only the fourth album to yield five number ones. In addition to the two Bryan albums, Blake Shelton’s “Based On A True Story” and Brad Paisley’s “5th Gear” achieved the feat.

“Move” was #2 on last week’s chart.

The balance of the Top 5 includes Cole Swindell’s “Middle Of A Memory” (#2, +1), “Setting The World On Fire” (#3, -2), Jason Aldean’s “A Little More Summertime” (#4, =), and Brett Young’s “Sleep Without You” (#5, +2).
