Ratings: “This Is Us” Repeats As Tuesday’s #1 Show; NBC Sweeps Evening

For the second straight week, NBC’s “This Is Us” beat its “The Voice” lead-in — and all other Tuesday night shows — in the key adults 18-49 demographic.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Tuesday’s “This Is Us” posted a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating and 9.62 million total viewers.

The numbers narrowly trail those of last week’s broadcast (2.8, 9.87 million), but NBC will certainly not be shedding any tears. The numbers are quite strong.

The 2.6 rating was the best posted by a broadcast network program Tuesday night.

NBC led into “This Is Us” with a one-hour “The Voice” (2.4, 10.32 million). It followed “This Is Us” with “Chicago Fire” (1.7, 7.41 million). Like “This Is Us,” the two shows won their timeslots in adults 18-49.
