Charlie Puth, Bette Midler, Sammy Hagar, and Joan Jett will advise “The Voice” contestants in conjunction with this year’s Battle Rounds.
Those who advance to the Knockout Round will receive guidance from Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
NBC confirms that the country power couple will serve as “key advisers” for the current eleventh season. They will work with contestants from all four teams.
“Who better to help guide our artists at this critical point than the first couple of country music, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw,” said NBC’s Paul Telegdy. “Our artists and our viewers will love hearing from two of the most talented and highly-decorated performers working in the music industry today.”
“I think having the perspective of performing live in many different venues, from clubs to stadiums, will help us in working with the Voice artists this season,” noted Hill. “It’s important that they be able to connect with their audience.”
“I really like to dig into songs and how they need to be presented in a live environment,” explained McGraw. “I’m looking forward to working with the coaches to help the artists reach their potential.”
News of McGraw and Hill’s “The Voice” involvement comes in conjunction with an announcement regarding their upcoming 2017 Soul2Soul World Tour.
In advance of their debut on the show, NBC shared photos from their coaching sessions:
