Update: Making good on its promise, Interscope serviced Lady Gaga’s new single “Perfect Illusion” to radio at 11PM ET.
The song will receive considerable airplay Friday; many iHeartMedia pop and hot adult contemporary stations will play the song every hour.
iHeartRadio also made the audio available as part of its “World Premiere” program. Listen:

Lady Gaga’s new single “Perfect Illusion” technically carries a September 9 release date, but it will actually make its radio premiere late Thursday night.
Interscope says it will service the song to radio at September 8.
Numerous radio stations have meanwhile confirmed they will play the song at around that time.
“Perfect Illusion” is then expected to receive “on the hour” airplay from numerous stations throughout its first full day in the market.
Initial hot adult contemporary adds will be reported in conjunction with the September 12 add board. Pop pickups will be reported on the September 13 add board.
