During the August 28 MTV Video Music Awards, a commercial aired teasing the release of a new Sia project entitled “The Greatest.”
Tuesday morning, that new project arrived — in both audio and video forms.
The song “The Greatest,” which features Kendrick Lamar, was made available on digital platforms. Sia has referred to it as her new single, indicating that it will be promoted as the follow-up to “Cheap Thrills.”
A music video, using audio from Sia’s solo version of “The Greatest,” also premiered early Tuesday morning. As indicated by last week’s teaser, Sia’s frequent collaborator Maddie Ziegler stars in the video.
