Disney Channel’s “Bunk’d,” which fell to a live+same-day viewership low Wednesday, gained back its lost ground — and then some — Thursday night.
According to data posted by Showbuzz, Thursday’s “Bunk’d” drew 1.44 million live+same-day viewers. Up substantially from the series low 1.19 million mark garnered by Wednesday’s episode, the figure also bests the 1.35 million audience total attained by Tuesday’s season premiere.
Thursday’s “Bunk’d” also posted big gains among young adult viewers. It garnered a 0.27 in adults 18-49 and a 0.28 in adults 18-34, besting the 0.18 and 0.21 respectively drawn by Wednesday’s episode.
Tuesday’s premiere drew a lesser 0.25 in adults 18-49 but the same 0.28 in adults 18-34.
Thursday’s “Bunk’d” additionally outperformed Wednesday’s episode among females 12-34 and males 12-34 (Tuesday’s episode was slightly stronger in M12-34 but slightly weaker in F12-34).
It was the night’s #1 cable original among females in that 12-34 demographic. As is almost always the case with Disney Channel original broadcasts, “Bunk’d” also fared comparatively well with kid and tween audiences.
Thursday’s “Bunk’d” was the third of four episodes that aired as part of a special season premiere event. The fourth aired Friday.
