Alan Walker’s “Faded” Attains Gold Status In The United States

While it did not perform as well in the United States as it did throughout the globe, Alan Walker’s “Faded” still generated ample interest from American music fans.

That ample interest yielded a gold certification from the RIAA.

“Faded” was certified gold on August 5, 2016; the gold honor confirms a US unit total of at least 500,000. A unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Faded” is the European artist’s first RIAA-certified single.
