The two-hour “Greatest Hits” finale airs at 9PM ET on Thursday, August 4.
Tuesday, ABC announced new performers for the episode.
Set to perform on the live broadcast are Hunter Hayes, Smash Mouth, Colin Hay, En Vogue, John Legend, New Edition, Richard Marx, Flo Rida, and host Kelsea Ballerini.
They join previously announced performers Ariana Grande, Celine Dion, Adam Lambert, Sheryl Crow, and Nelly. It is worth noting that Cyndi Lauper, who was confirmed as a performer in ABC’s original press release, is not listed in the updated announcement.
Per ABC, Hunter Hayes and Smash Mouth will collaborate on the broadcast. Sheryl Crow will sing with Kelsea Ballerini, while Flo Rida will offer a tribute to hip-hop.
