Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood Reach Top 5 On Mediabase Country Radio Chart

The Top 5 of this week’s Mediabase country radio singles chart is occupied exclusively by singles from superstar acts.

Two of those singles — Jason Aldean’s “Lights Come On” and Carrie Underwood’s “Church Bells” — are making their first appearances inside the Top 5.

Up four places, “Lights Come On” improves to #2 on this week’s listing. Not simply #2 in terms of Mediabase chart points, it also ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s #2 song for airplay (~7,789 spins during the June 12-18 tracking week; +820) and audience (~53.875 million audience impressions during the tracking week).

“Church Bells” enjoys a two-place gain to #5. Underwood’s third “Storyteller” concurrently ranks as the week’s #6 song for airplay (~6,957 spins, +713) but #4 song for audience (~49.014 million weekly impressions).

Luke Bryan’s “Huntin’, Fishin’ And Lovin’ Every Day” claims #1 on this week’s Mediabase country radio chart, while Keith Urban’s “Wasted Time” (#3) and Tim McGraw’s “Humble And Kind” (#4) occupy the other Top 5 positions.
