While it has not enjoyed a particularly significant week-over-week airplay gain, Selena Gomez’ “Kill Em With Kindness” is still headed for a new peak on the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.
The fourth “Revival” single received 4,492 spins during the first five days of the June 12-18 tracking week. Up 2.6% from the count at this point last week, the tally positions “KEWK” at #15 on Mediabase’s building chart.
The song should be able to retain its Top 15 position through the close of tracking.
“Good For You,” “Same Old Love,” and “Hands To Myself,” the previous three singles from “Revival,” all reached #1 at pop radio. The recent slowdown suggests “Kill Em With Kindness” will not follow suit, although it is hard to look at an album era with three #1 hits and an additional Top 15 hit as anything but a rousing success for the artist.
