Ratings: “Game Of Thrones” Falls Slightly, Stays Dominant

While it was down slightly on a week-to-week basis, HBO’s “Game Of Thrones” still performed dominantly Sunday.

According to national data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “Thrones” drew a 3.88 adults 18-49 rating and 7.60 million total viewers. The numbers trail the 3.95 rating and 7.80 million viewer mark drawn last week.

They nonetheless still represented Sunday’s best for a cable program. “Game Of Thrones” was also #1 in adults 18-49 among all of television Sunday. It was #3 — beneath only the Tony Awards and “60 Minutes” — in total viewership.

HBO’s Sunday lineup also included “Silicon Valley” (0.88, 1.64 million this week vs. 0.91, 1.70 million last week), “Veep” (0.39, 0.85 million this week vs. 0.51, 1.10 million last week) and “Last Week Tonight” (0.53, 1.21 million this week vs. 0.72, 1.61 million last week).
