Selena Gomez has finally confirmed a premiere date for “Kill Em With Kindness.”
Per a Tweet from the artist, the “KEWK” video will premiere on Monday, June 6. The video release will presumably generate more momentum for a song that has already been making gains at pop radio and on the iTunes sales chart.
“Kill Em With Kindness” should reach a new peak of #16 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart. It, meanwhile, recently cracked the Top 100 on the US iTunes chart — and currently sits at #78.
The song is also on the verge of cracking the Billboard Hot 100; it debuted at #4 on last week’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, which ranks the top songs that have yet to appear on the actual Hot 100.
“Kill Em With Kindness” is the fourth single from Gomez’ “Revival.” Previous singles “Good For You (featuring A$AP Rocky),” “Same Old Love,” and “Hands To Myself” all reached #1 at pop radio. The former two also reached #5 on the Hot 100, while “Hands To Myself” peaked at #7.
