Team Christina’s Alisan Porter Wins “The Voice,” Adam Wakefield Takes Second, Hannah Third

In the final minutes of Tuesday’s two-hour results show, NBC’s “The Voice” revealed Team Christina’s Alisan Porter as its tenth winner.

It marked the first time that a contestant from a female-coached team emerged victorious.

Porter, whose Monday night setlist included original single “Down That Road,” “Somewhere,” and “You’ve Got A Friend (with Christina Aguilera),” received more votes than fellow finalists Adam Wakefield, Hannah Huston, and Laith al-Saadi.

Wakefield, a member of Team Blake, took second place. Team Pharrell’s Huston was the third place finisher, while Team Adam’s al-Saadi landed in fourth.

NBC’s “The Voice” is back this fall with returning coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine and new coaches Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys.
