On the heels of a high-profile showcase at the ACM Awards, Tim McGraw’s “Humble And Kind” jumps three places to #1 on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
McGraw’s tune seizes the throne from Cole Swindell’s “You Should Be Here,” which slips to #2 after spending the previous four weeks at #1.
While McGraw’s song enjoyed gains in weekly activity, it actually slips one place to #2 on Country Digital Songs and #11 on Country Airplay. It does, however, rise six places to #7 on Country Streaming Songs.
In conjunction with its ascent to #1 on Hot Country Songs, “Humble And Kind” also enjoys a fourteen-place lift to #30 on the all-genre Hot 100. It is now McGraw’s highest-charting Hot 100 hit since 2013’s “Highway Don’t Care (featuring Taylor Swift and Keith Urban).”
— As for Hot Country Songs, Thomas Rhett’s “Die A Happy Man” (#3), Dierks Bentley’s “Somewhere On A Beach” (#4) and Blake Shelton’s “Came Here To Forget” (#5) form the balance of the Top 5.
Swindell’s “You Should Be Here” meanwhile enjoys a third straight week at #1 on Country Airplay. Jason Aldean’s “Lights Come On” takes #1 on Country Digital Songs, while Rhett’s “Die A Happy Man” stays #1 on Country Streaming Songs.
