Hot 100: Dierks Bentley’s “Beach,” Blake Shelton’s “Forget” Reach Top 40

Aided by growing radio exposure and performances at the ACM Awards, two post-breakup country songs make their first Top 40 appearances on the Billboard Hot 100.

Up four places, Dierks Bentley’s “Somewhere On A Beach” reaches #39 on this week’s edition of the chart.

Blake Shelton’s “Came Here To Forget” directly follows at #40. It is up eight places from last week’s position — and two places from its previous peak.

“Somewhere On A Beach” is the lead single from Bentley’s “Black.” “Came Here To Forget” is the lead release from Shelton’s “If I’m Honest.”
