The Rock Dominates Erick Rowan at WWE WrestleMania 32; John Cena Returns

The Rock’s eagerly anticipated WWE WrestleMania 32 segment included a big announcement, a confrontation with The Wyatts, a very brief match, and the return of one of The Rock’s former WrestleMania opponents.

The Rock initially hit the ring to confirm that WrestleMania 32 set the all-time WWE attendance record. WWE’s official claim is that 101,763 fans were in attendance at AT&T Stadium.

Shortly after making his announcement, The Rock was interrupted by The Wyatts. After a verbal exchange, the confrontation escalated into a match. The People’s Champion disposed of Wyatt Family member Erick Rowan in just six seconds.

As The Wyatts prepared to use numbers to seek vengeance on The Rock, out came a returning John Cena. John Cena aided The Rock in conquering The Wyatts. The two then left the ringside area — together and in celebration.
