Ratings: “Walking Dead” Ticks Up, Dominates In Demo; “Little Big Shots” Keeps Viewership Crown

AMC’s “The Walking Dead” enjoyed an improved week-to-week performance — and characteristically dominated Sunday night in the adults 18-49 demographic — but it was not Sunday night’s most watched show.

That honor, instead, belongs to “Little Big Shots.”

According to Showbuzz, Sunday’s “TWD” drew a 6.04 adults 18-49 rating and 12.7 million total live+same-day viewers. The numbers best the 5.96 rating and 12.5 million viewer mark drawn by last week’s episode.

The demo rating also obliterates anything else posted by a broadcast or cable series Sunday night. The aforementioned “Little Big Shots” was a distant second with a 2.6 adults 18-49 number.

The older-skewing series nonetheless bested “TWD” for a second straight week in total viewers. Per Showbuzz and NBC, it drew 13.3 million total viewers Sunday night.

While not as hot as the previous week’s episode (15.0 million), it was still the night’s most watched program.
