Meghan Trainor’s “NO,” which received adds from 63 Mediabase-monitored hot adult contemporary stations last week, earned another healthy dose of support this week.
That support is enough to earn “NO” a second straight week atop the format’s add board.
“NO” received a “yes” from 29 Hot AC stations this week. The count more than doubles that of the next-most added song. It also effectively ensures “NO,” which reached #16 this past week, will continue soaring up the Mediabase Hot AC airplay chart.
Kelly Clarkson’s “Piece By Piece,” that song, earned adds from 14 monitored stations. Mike Posner’s “I Took A Pill In Ibiza” follows with 10 adds, while respective add counts of 9 and 8 earn Panic! At The Disco’s “Victorious” and Zara Larsson & MNEK’s “Never Forget You” fourth and fifth place.
This week’s other notable Hot AC options: Taylor Swift’s “New Romantics” (7 adds, 6th, tie), ZAYN’s “PILLOWTALK” (7 adds, 6th, tie), Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home (featuring Ty Dolla $ign)” (6 adds, 8th, tie), Gwen Stefani’s “Make Me Like You” (6 adds, 8th, tie), and Selena Gomez’ “Hands To Myself” (5 adds, 10th).
