Blake Shelton’s “Came Here To Forget” Hits #1 On iTunes Sales Chart; Listen Now

Update: Shortly after 3PM ET Tuesday, Blake Shelton’s “Came Here To Forget” hit #1 on the US iTunes single sales chart.

======

Launched Tuesday morning, Blake Shelton’s “Came Here To Forget” has predictably generated interest at the US iTunes store.

As of press time at 12:15PM ET, it was up to #4 on the all-genre listing. Only Lukas Graham’s #1 “7 Years,” Meghan Trainor’s #2 “NO,” and Rihanna’s #3 “Work (featuring Drake)” hold higher chart positions.

Given the rate at which its sales pace is increasing, “Came Here To Forget” may move even higher as the day progresses.

In addition to launching on digital retailers, the song — which is the lead single from Shelton’s next album — is today receiving hourly “world premiere” radio airplay cross the iHeartMedia network.
