Taylor Swift’s “New Romantics” Still Rising on US iTunes Sales Chart

While it has not yet soared into the uppermost reaches of the iTunes sales chart, Taylor Swift’s “New Romantics” continues to climb.

The song, which entered the Top 50 Wednesday evening, has been steadily rising since. As of late Sunday night, it was up to #33 on the US iTunes store’s all-genre singles sales chart.

The upward sales momentum corresponds with a rapidly growing presence at radio. “New Romantics,” which was first confirmed as a radio single on February 19 (ahead of a February 22/23 impact), is already inside the Top 20 at hot adult contemporary radio and Top 25 at pop.

“New Romantics,” which first appeared on the Target deluxe edition of Swift’s Grammy-winning album and was later made available for iTunes purchase, is the seventh radio single from “1989.”
