James Bay’s “Let It Go” Crosses 500K US Sales Mark

A solid sales performance during the February 19-25 tracking week thrust James Bay’s “Let It Go” past the 500,000 cumulative mark in the US.

According to Nielsen Music, “Let It Go” sold 46,856 paid US downloads during the official tracking week. That trails the previous week’s mark of 61,361, but insofar as that tally was aided by exposure during the 58th Annual Grammy Awards, this week’s total is nothing at which to sneeze.

That statement is especially true given that it brought the song’s cumulative tally past 500,000 — and to what Nielsen reports as 535,842.

“Let It Go” is officially in the Top 10 at US hot adult contemporary radio and in the Top 40 at US pop radio.
