Taylor Swift’s “New Romantics” Enjoys 633% Gain In Weekly Sales; Total Now 268.5K

The February 19-25 tracking week included Taylor Swift’s announcement that “New Romantics” would be the seventh radio single from her “1989.”

It also included the song’s official impacts at pop and hot adult contemporary radio.

Naturally, the song enjoyed a substantial gain in weekly sales within that tracking period.

According to Nielsen Music, “New Romantics” sold 9,958 paid US downloads between February 19 and 25. The count bests the previous week’s mark by a whopping 633%.

Through February 25, “New Romantics” had sold 268,478 copies in the US.
