Twenty One Pilots’ “Stressed Out” Officially Takes #1 at Pop Radio; Flo Rida Joins Top 5

Last week, twenty one pilots’ “Stressed Out” came close to dethroning Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” on the pop radio airplay chart.

This week, it officially gets the job done. The duo’s breakthrough smash ascends to #1 on Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart.

“Stressed Out” received ~19,124 spins during the February 21-27 tracking week (+408). Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself,” which slips to #2, garnered ~18,873 tracking week plays (+43).

Making its first appearance in the Top 5, Flo Rida’s “My House” jumps three places to #3. Its spin count of ~15,019 bests last week’s mark by a whopping 2,015, which represents the pop format’s greatest weekly airplay gain.

Down one place, The Chainsmokers’ “Roses (featuring ROZES)” is #4 with ~14,280 plays (+31), while Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” holds at #5 on the strength of ~12,441 weekly spins (-896).

— “Stressed Out” concurrently reaches #1 on this week’s Hot AC airplay chart. It had previously spent twelve weeks at #1 on the alternative chart.
