Aided by support from the iHeartRadio “On The Verge” program and undeniable industry enthusiasm, ZAYN’s “PILLOWTALK” pushes to #21 on this week’s Mediabase pop airplay chart.
It gets there on the strength of the format’s greatest weekly airplay gain.
Up six places from last week’s position, “PILLOWTALK” received ~5,158 spins during the February 7-13 tracking week.
This week’s spin count bests last week’s by a whopping 2,372 spins, which represents the week’s biggest lift at pop radio.
“PILLOWTALK” is the only addition to the format’s Top 25. Two songs do, however, reach the Top 30.
Up four places, DJ Snake’s “Middle (featuring Bipolar Sunshine)” earns #29 on this week’s chart. It received ~2,206 weekly spins (+436).
Spun ~1,941 times during the official tracking week (+20), BØRNS’ “Electric Love” rises one place to #30.
