Hot 100: Coldplay’s “Hymn For The Weekend” Debuts, Charlie Puth & Selena Gomez Also Arrive

While only the latter formally credits its featured vocalist, “Hymn For The Weekend” and “We Don’t Talk Anymore” are both star collaborations.

They both debut on this week’s Billboard Hot 100.

Coldplay’s “Hymn For The Weekend,” which featured uncredited vocals from Beyonce, debuts at #68 on this week’s all-encompassing Hot 100. The debut position comes thanks to the release of the music video, which directly fueled streams and indirectly contributed to increased purchases (18,239 US sales this week, +1517%).

Charlie Puth’s “We Don’t Talk Anymore (featuring Selena Gomez)” arrives at #78. The cut from Puth’s newly released “Nine Track Mind” sold 20,782 weekly US copies, per Nielsen Music.
