Sam Hunt’s “Montevallo” Crosses the 1 Million US Sales Mark

“Montevallo,” the debut album from Grammy-nominated country star Sam Hunt, has officially crossed the 1 million US sales mark.

According to Nielsen Music, “Montevallo” sold 7,152 US copies during the January 22-28 tracking week. While down by 10% from the previous week’s tally, it was still enough to thrust “Montevallo” into the million sales club.

Through January 28, “Montevallo” had sold just over 1.003 million US copies.

Presently certified gold as an album (but now obviously eligible for platinum), “Montevallo” has produced four platinum singles in “Leave The Night On,” “Take Your Time,” “House Party,” and “Break Up In A Small Town.”
