Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” Likely Headed For #1 at Pop Radio

“Love Yourself,” Justin Bieber’s rapidly rising third “Purpose” single, may reach #1 on the Mediabase pop airplay chart by as early as this week.

“Love Yourself” received 2,238 spins on Sunday, January 24, which marks the first day of the January 24-30 tracking week. Up 13.3% from last Sunday’s figure, the tally positions “Love Yourself” at #2 on Mediabase’s building chart.

It trails only Alessia Cara’s “Here” on the building chart. The song, which topped this past week’s official chart, received 2,332 spins on Sunday (-4.0%).

If the songs maintain their current trajectories, “Love Yourself” will overtake “Here” before the chart goes final this weekend.

Previous “Purpose” singles “What Do You Mean?” and “Sorry” both reached #1 on the pop chart; the latter ruled for multiple weeks.
