While not nearly as big as last year’s “The Flash” launch, The CW’s “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” premiered to solid numbers Thursday night.
Per Nielsen fast national data, “Legends” posted a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating and drew 3.141 million total viewers.
This week’s numbers position “Legends” in The CW’s upper tier (they are below those typically drawn by “The Flash” episodes but above those customary of “Arrow” broadcasts). Whether they can hold at these levels is certainly a question to monitor, but there is virtually no chance “Legends” slips below the network’s median in the near future.
Flagship series “The Flash” premiered to a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating and 4.83 million viewers in October 2014. Its episodes now typically draw a 1.3-1.5 in adults 18-49 and ~3.5 million in total viewership.
— “Legends” led into the third season premiere of “The 100,” which drew a 0.7 and 1.979 million total viewers. The numbers top the 0.5 rating and 1.54 million viewer mark posted by last season’s premiere.
