Still by far the most played song at alt radio, twenty one pilots’ “Stressed Out” earns an eleventh straight week atop Mediabase’s alternative chart.
“Stressed Out” received 3,144 spins during the January 10-16 tracking week. While down 166 plays from the prior week’s mark, the count still comfortably bests the 2,688 earned by Cage The Elephant’s runner-up “Mess Around” (+93).
Up one place, Coldplay’s “Adventure Of A Lifetime” takes #3 on this week’s alternative chart. It received 2,469 weekly spins (+73).
Cold War Kids’ “First” (#4, -1 | 2,330, -104) and Vance Joy’s “Fire And The Flood” (#5, +1 | 2,239, +80) complete the Top 5.
— “Stressed Out” is not the only twenty one pilots song on the chart. With 278 weekly spins (+208), the duo’s new single “Ride” officially enters the format’s Top 40. It rises thirty one places to #34.
The Strumbellas’ “Spirits” also reaches the Top 40 this week. Up thirty six places, it claims #36 on the strength of its 233 weekly plays (+167).
