Selena Gomez’ “Same Old Love” Stays #1 at Pop Radio, The Weeknd, Justin Bieber Reach Top 5

“Same Old Love,” which last week became the third Selena Gomez song to officially reach #1 at pop radio, this week became the second to achieve a multi-week reign.

Spun ~18,339 times during the January 10-16 tracking week (-326), “Same Old Love” scores a second week atop the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

This past September, Gomez led for three weeks with “Good For You (featuring A$AP Rocky).” Her 2013 hit “Come & Get It” reigned for one week in June 2013.

Like last week, Justin Bieber’s former #1 “Sorry” claims the runner-up position. It received ~17,656 weekly spins (-785).

Alessia Cara’s “Here” holds at its #3 peak with ~17,392 weekly plays (+1,029), while The Weeknd’s “In The Night” and Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” complete the Top 5.

Up two places, “In The Night” earns #4 on the strength of its ~14,025 weekly spins (+1,325).

“Love Yourself” follows with a three-place rise to #5. Its weekly spin count of ~13,974 bests last week’s by a whopping 3,238 plays; the gain is the week’s greatest for a pop radio single.
