Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer” is expected to claim a Top 15 position on this week’s Mediabase pop airplay chart.
“IKWYDLS” received 4,875 spins during the first five days of the January 3-9 tracking week. Up 10.6% from the figure at this point last week, the count positions the song at #16 on Mediabase’s building airplay chart.
While “IKWYDLS” may leapfrog Drake’s fading “Hotline Bling” (#15 on building, 5,017 spins, -7.6%), it should claim an official Top 15 position regardless.
Now in its thirty second week on the official pop chart, Shawn Mendes’ own “Stitches” will be removed as a recurrent if it ranks below the Top 10 when the chart goes final. Currently #11 on the building chart with a decelerating spin count (6,497 after five days, -3.1%), “Stitches” is all but a lock for recurrent status.
Mediabase’s official pop airplay chart will be issued Sunday. “IKWYDLS” was #17 on last week’s listing.
