Meghan Trainor’s “Title” Crosses the 1 Million US Sales Mark

Already certified platinum based on shipments, Meghan Trainor’s “Title” this past week crossed the 1 million mark in terms of end-consumer sales.

According to Nielsen Music, “Title” sold 14,229 US copies during the December 25-31 tracking week. The tally brought the album’s cumulative mark to approximately 1.006 million.

“Title,” which was released on January 9, 2015, became the seventh and final album to sell over 1 million US copies in 2015. The year’s other million-plus sellers included Taylor Swift’s “1989,” Ed Sheeran’s “x,” Drake’s “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late,” Adele’s “25,” Justin Bieber’s “Purpose,” and Sam Smith’s “In The Lonely Hour.”
