The Chainsmokers & Rozes, Daya Headed For Top 15 at Pop Radio

Two songs that caught fire this quarter will both secure Top 15 positions on Mediabase’s weekly pop radio airplay chart.

Daya’s “Hide Away” received 6,330 plays during the first six days of the December 13-19 tracking week. Up 10.8% from the same time last week, the count positions “Hide Away” at #13 on Mediabase’s building airplay chart.

The Chainsmokers’ “Roses (featuring Rozes)” follows at #14 on the building chart. It received 6,325 plays during the tracking week’s first six days (+19.6%).

Because it is rising more rapidly, “Roses” may overtake “Hide Away” before the chart goes final.

Regardless of how that specific hierarchy shakes out, the important reality is that both will secure Top 15 positions on this week’s chart.

“Hide Away” and “Roses” were positioned at #16 and #17, respectively, on last week’s listing.

In observance of the holiday season, Mediabase does not go through the full publication protocol for the December 13-19 and December 20-26 tracking weeks.  It, nonetheless, still posts airplay charts for those two weeks, and the positions on those charts are still considered official.
