David Guetta, Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha & Afrojack’s “Hey Mama” Certified 2X Platinum

David Guetta’s hit “Hey Mama,” which features Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha and Afrojack, has officially reached the multi-platinum level in the United States.

The single received a 2x platinum certification on December 11, 2015. Under the terms of the RIAA’s digital singles program, the 2x honor confirms a US unit total of at least 2 million units.

One unit is equal to 1 paid download or 100 streams.

Included on Guetta’s 2014 album “Listen” and officially launched as a single in 2015, “Hey Mama” went as high as #8 on the Billboard Hot 100.
