Majid Jordan’s “Something About You” Scores iHeartRadio “On The Verge” Boost

Toronto duo Majid Jordan is the latest act to receive the coveted iHeartRadio “On The Verge” boost.

Per iHeartRadio’s “On The Verge” playlist, the push will apply to the duo’s single “Something About You.” The track appears on the duo’s self-titled debut album, which is scheduled for a February 5, 2016 release on the Drake co-founded OVO Sound.

In addition to branding support across iHeart’s digital singles, the “On the Verge” program includes guaranteed airplay from the iHeartMedia stations within a given genre. For “Something About You,” it appears the airplay will come within the rhythmic genre.

Spun 60 times during the November 29-December 5 tracking week, “Something About You” currently ranks as the Mediabase rhythmic panel’s #96 song. Thanks to the combination of buzz and “On The Verge” support, that position should quickly improve.

2015’s other rhythmic “On The Verge” selections include Post Malone (for “White Iverson”), Rita Ora (for “Body On Me”), Pia Mia (for “Do It Again”), Fifth Harmony (for “Worth It”), and Natalie La Rose (for “Somebody”).
