The Voice’s Jordan Smith Wins iTunes Vote Bonus; Jeffery Austin Next-Highest (Updated)

Update: The 12PM ET voting deadline has arrived, and Jordan Smith’s “Halo” holds the #3 spot on the all-genre iTunes sales chart.

By sitting within the Top 10, the Team Adam contestant’s song earns the coveted 10x iTunes multiplier bonus. The eligible sales total will be multiplied by 10 before being included in Smith’s overall vote calculation.

Between the raves over his performance and the iTunes boost, Smith should be considered a lock to advance.

None of Monday’s other performances reached the Top 10 in time for the conclusion of voting. Here is how they were positioned:

25) Jeffery Austin – Team Gwen – Say You Love Me
29) Amy Vachal – Team Adam – The Way You Look Tonight
43) Ellie Lawrence – Team Gwen – Ex’s and Oh’s
62) Braiden Sunshine – Team Gwen – Everything I Own
67) Shelby Brown – Team Adam – You’re No Good
76) Blaine Mitchell – Team Adam – Never Tear Us Apart
77) Viktor Kiraly – Team Gwen – All Around The World
81) Chance Pena – Team Adam – Barton Hollow
114) Keith Semple – Team Adam – To Be With You
181) Korin Bukowski – Team Gwen – Adia
236) Regina Love – Team Gwen – Hello
=============================

As of 2AM ET — an hour after the conclusion of NBC’s west coast “The Voice” feed — one of Monday’s performances is comfortably positioned within the Top 10 on the all-genre iTunes sales chart.

Jordan Smith’s “Halo,” that performance, is currently #5 on the chart.

Insofar as it will likely gain momentum in the coming hours, “Halo” should have no trouble retaining its Top 10 position through the close of voting at 12PM ET. If it does so, the Team Adam contestant will receive the coveted iTunes multiplier bonus.

The bonus multiplies the iTunes votes (sales) for the relevant song by 10.

None of the night’s other performances is (yet) within striking distance of the Top 10.

Team Gwen contestant Jeffery Austin’s “Say You Love Me,” the closest, is currently #29 on the all-genre chart.

As of 2AM ET, the night’s other performances are positioned as follows:

36) Amy Vachal – Team Adam – The Way You Look Tonight
54) Ellie Lawrence – Team Gwen – Ex’s and Oh’s
68) Braiden Sunshine – Team Gwen – Everything I Own
86) Shelby Brown – Team Adam – You’re No Good
95) Viktor Kiraly – Team Gwen – All Around The World
97) Blaine Mitchell – Team Adam – Never Tear Us Apart
103) Chance Pena – Team Adam – Barton Hollow
144) Keith Semple – Team Adam – To Be With You
227) Korin Bukowski – Team Gwen – Adia
298) Regina Love – Team Gwen – Hello
